Mandrake Root is the fifth design in The Artpin Collection's line of folk tale based pins.

Mayday is a magical time. 
A liminal time. 
A dangerous time!
On this night the Mandrake roots scramble free of the soft earth. 
And dance in the light of the first moon of Spring.
They sing their unearthly, piercing songs, 
And cavort in wild circles in the twilight.
To hear them brings madness. 
To spy them brings doom!
Beware on your nocturnal ramblings!
Less you witness things not easily un-seen.

The 1.5'' tall design comes in four different colorways, 30 pieces per color.

About the Artist

UK-based Bruce Whistlecraft (aka Doktor A) has become synonymous with the creation of Victorian Futurist style Robot characters. Indeed, his popular ongoing Mechtorians series unravels the story of the retrobotic realm of Retropolis one artwork at a time.
