What shipping methods do you offer?
We offer a variety of services from the United States Postal Service (USPS) and United Parcel Service (UPS) including the lesser expensive USPS services such as First Class and First Class International, plus international shipping via APC parcelConnect.
We take shipping orders in a timely manner and with the best possible care in packaging VERY seriously here at Rotofugi and that's not just talk. We collect toys and art too and understand just how important it is that your items show up fast and protected well along their journey.
We ship to just about anywhere! Chances are we have shipped to your country before, and we'd be glad to do it again!
We can't exactly answer this one here for obvious reasons (it would be a massive chart, we bet) but if you add your items to your cart you can see your shipping options at the bottom of the cart page, prior to beginning the checkout procedure.

Most* packages are insured and guaranteed for the value of the merchandise. If your package is not delivered within 21 days for domestic customers and 45 days for international customers we will refund or replace your order. Plain and simple.
These are not estimates of delivery times, but simply worst case scenarios and the time frames required by our insurers to file a claim. One caveat...damaged packaging is not covered by insurance. We do our very best to package items for shipping in a manner that will protect the contents...we use heavy boxes and lots of padding!
* There are two exceptions.... First Class International packages to many countries are not trackable, and as such, are not necessarily insured or guaranteed for delivery. The same is true if you choose one of the parcelConnect options. If you're concerned about whether or not your package will be insured and/or trackable, email us first please.
Can I pickup my order at the store in Chicago?
You betcha! When you are checking out you'll see the option to choose Store Pickup near the bottom of the cart page right before you checkout. Choose that option and we'll hold your order at the store for pickup.
We're located at 2780 N Lincoln Ave, Chicago. That's the intersection of Lincoln, Diversey and Racine.
The store is open 10am-6pm, seven days a week.
We used to offer an option called "Hold for Later Delivery" but due to some technical challenges with our shopping cart system it is no longer a choice....BUT....we're happy to still do it for you!
To have an order held now, please leave us a note on the cart page requesting your order to be held and then choose the Pickup option so that you do not have to pay shipping.
Why would you want to do that? Well....a lot of our international customers use it to combine several small orders over a period of time into one shipment to save on shipping costs. Or maybe you're moving and don't know your new address yet, but want to make sure an item doesn't sell out before you are ready to give that new address. Two great reasons to choose "Hold for Later Delivery!"
When you are ready for your order or orders to be shipped just drop us an email and tell us you're ready and we'll send you a quote for shipping. Pay up the shipping and your order(s) will be on their way! Thanks!
We collect US sales taxes for the state of Illinois only. We do not collect any customs fees, duties, VAT or other delivery fees that may be required of you if you live outside of the United States, with the exception of the United Kingdom for which we do collect VAT. Payment of taxes, duties, customs fees, VAT, etc. is the sole responsibility of the recipient — all packages are shipped DDU (Deliver Duties Unpaid).
First Class (domestically) is reasonably fast. Packages can take anywhere from a couple days to a little over a week for delivery, depending on your location.
First Class International, on the other hand, is quite often a slow service...again, depending on your location. It is reliable, but does not provide tracking nor a delivery estimate for most destinations. In our experience delivery times vary greatly from country to country, but should take anywhere from 1 to 8 weeks. Please note that First Class International packages to many countries are not trackable, and as such, are not necessarily insured or guaranteed for delivery.
Finally, if you choose First Class or First Class International there is a chance that the items you ordered may exceed the weight restrictions for those services. In such an event we will contact you and offer you alternate shipping options (which, unfortunately, will usually mean that you may have to make an additional payment....sorry). We're doing our best to make sure accurate weights are available for all of our items, but the weight of the packaging (and the infinite possible combination of items on our store) can make it difficult to calculate the final weight of a package.
Domestic (within the United States) Express Mail is NOT necessarily an overnight service. In many cases it can take 2-3 days for delivery, though it can be overnight to some destinations. Please check this page on USPS.com (use 60614 for the origin zip code) for their delivery guarantees on Express Mail.
USPS Express Mail International (EMS) is usually 3-5 days.
What is parcelConnect? How long does it take? Is it trackable?
These international shipping options are provided by APC Postal Logistics. Founded in 2001, APC Postal Logistics is a leading consolidator and distributor of international parcels and mail providing a full range of shipping and mailing solutions.
Packages shipped via parcelConnect are consolidated and delivered to APC weekly. As such, total delivery time will vary slightly. For Priority, you can expect delivery in 5-18 business days and for Expedited, 4-12 business days.
Both services offer tracking up until the point the package enters your country.
When will my order ship?
We do our very best to ship orders as fast as we can! Most orders ship the next day after you order (often the same day if we can). The following guidelines should help you determine when your order will ship...we hit these guidelines about 99% of the time:

A blind box is a toy that comes in a package that makes identifying the specific figure inside impossible...you will receive a single figure in a sealed package. Random assortment means that there are lot of different choices, but you don't get to choose....we'll just choose one at random for you, though we usually allow you to request a specific design/color. Click here for a little bit more of an explanation.
Unless otherwise noted Pre-Orders require payment in full up front. If you order additional items at the same time as your Pre-Order we will hold all of the items in your order and ship them when your Pre-Order is available to ship. Sometimes we do "Pre-Order Deposits." If the item is described as a deposit, the item description will contain the details and the final price of the pre-order. When the item arrives we will send you instructions for paying the balance of your order and the shipping. If you do not want items to be held with your Pre-Order, please place seperate orders (meaning order the Pre-Order item seperate from any other items).
