Nikko Locander, otherwise known as Ali Six, is a multi-medium artist born and raised in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. His art career began in high school — painting the streets of Chicago. After realizing there was more to art than just graffiti he combined what he learned through spray paint and his love of cartoons to create Richie the Raccoon, a now familiar sight in the windy city. A self-taught artist, Ali Six works across multiple disciplines, developing toys and products as well as doing wheat paste, spray painted murals, traditional paintings and sculpture.
