Toasted Mini Marshalls by 64 Colors - SDCC Debut

It's feeling a little toasty in here! That's right, Toasted Mini Marshall by 64 Colors is back, in two new versions!

Designed by 64 Colors, and produced by Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi, each 2 inch tall Toasted Mini Marshall is hand toasted (painted) in Chicago, so no two are exactly alike!

This release marks the introduction of two new versions: Surprised and Joyful!

Toasted Mini Marshalls will be available both at SDCC Booth 5248 ($11 each tax included) and on rotofugi.com ($9.95 each), beginning Wednesday, July 20 at 8pm Central Time.

Stay tuned for more SDCC release news, we still have more things in the queue!

Sogno Marbled Uamou for SDCC 2016

We're back with another exclusive from one of our Japanese friends, the wonderfully talented Uamou!

Uamou founder and artist Ayako Takagi has given us these wonderful 3" tall clear vinyl versions of her adorable alien character, Uamou, that are painted from the inside for a marbled effect. So cool and dreamy!

Sogno Marbled Uamou will be available at SDCC Booth 5248, Squibbles Ink + Rotofugi, for $44 (tax included). With 25 pieces in the edition, split between those with red eyes and glow in the dark eyes, we expect these to not last long...but if any do remain after SDCC, they will be made available via rotofugi.com.

Rumble Monsters Customs for SDCC 2016

We're excited that another of our long-time friends and one of the originators of the neo-sofubi movement, Rumble Monsters, have painted an assortment of customs for our booth at SDCC this year!

One-off custom painted King Bop Dragons and Bop Dragons will be available for $195 each, along with an assortment of one-off versions of the newly released Baby Bop series priced at just $65 each (sales tax included).

Thanks RM! Stay tuned for, yes, even more SDCC release info!

Max Toy Customs for SDCC 2016

We're pleased to announce we'll be continuing what has become a tradition for us, hosting some beautiful customs from Max Toy Company at our SDCC Booth.

Max Toy Company owner and artist Mark Nagata is, hands down, one of the most talented painters in the sofubi genre and an instrumental figure in the growth and continued creative expansion of kaiju toys. We consider ourselves lucky to have a long history of collaboration.

For this year, Mark has painted four one-off customs that will be available at SDCC Booth 5248. His Clear Eyezon (with guts) will be available for $435, while the newer style custom Kaiju Eyezon will be $350. A glow in the dark Saikobi (both sides pictured at bottom) will be $375, and finally, a mini Kaiju Tripus will be available for $135. All prices are sales tax included.

Thanks Mark! Stay tuned for even more SDCC release info!

Grumble Toys Chubby Tough for SDCC 2016

Chubby Tough may be made of Japanese vinyl, but his heart and soul are pure Canadian...and based on his girth, we think he might be hitting Tim Hortons for donuts quite frequently!

Designed and produced by Chris Bryan and Ainslie Sturko (aka Grumble Toys from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada), Chubby Tough stands 3.5 inches tall and has three points of articulation. The clear pink version is a limited edition of just 10 pieces.

This release will be available at SDCC Booth 5248 for $40 (tax included). Any stock that remains after the convention will be made available on rotofugi.com about one week after the end of the show.

Lots more SDCC release info to come!
