About the Artist
Michael Fleming has 15+ years of practical experience as a professional illustrator, working with both digital and traditional mediums. Specialities are children's media, character design and large cartoon heads.
He is taller than Abraham Lincoln.

About the Artist
With a commitment to creating and curating surprising forms of visual art, Daniel “Attaboy” Seifert has forged a varied career, often fusing subversion with disconcerting whimsy.
Atta’s recent installation “The Cradle of Life”, for example, is an interactive art installation depicting a decomposing but vibrant-with-life throne which sits two rulers. Participants sit and rock side to side, creating a pleasant rocking motion akin to a newborn in a crib.
Other works include sculptural paintings on levels of layered wood, which investigate themes of death, decomposition and rebirth. Since 2016, art therapy has become an integral part of his daily process, due to a battle with depression and a neurological condition called Cervical Dystonia, with new works always evolving evolving into paintings, sculptures, and life-affirming installations and events like Game of Shrooms, a world -wide art N Seek holiday of sorts. The unconventional scavenger hunt led 1000’s of artists and hunters across the world to create and hide original art work for collectors (and the unassuming) to find. Artists and gatherers from Hong Kong, Berlin, Japan, the UK, India, Russia, Switzerland, the US, and many more participated in the world-wide event, creating a world-wide non-religious, no cost, political-free interactive “art show” of making and sharing. The event spread viral on Instagram (See the hashtag #gameofshrooms for some of the results) and is set to be repeated on June 11th, 2022.
He also began his Rocks Painted Like Rocks series, which have been added to many influential collections. These rocks, covered in acrylic paint, appear almost as assets in a video game or a Warner Bros. cartoon and have been known to sell for hundreds of dollars, which impresses some, and angers others.
His recent series of “Near Collisions” may be a way of dealing with the traumatizing car crash that his family experienced this past year, in a video game like scenario, but it is too soon to be certain.
Attaboy’s work has been seen in children’s and novelty books which he has authored, magazines, galleries, museums, on television and many designer toy stores. His influences include Alexander Calder, Yayoi Kusama, Maurice Nobel, Eyvinde Earle, and the futurist Syd Mead.
In 2005, Atta co-founded Hi-Fructose The New Contemporary Art magazine with his wife, the artist Annie Owens., which was recently honored with a coast to cost museum retrospective at theVirginia MOCA, The Akron art Museum, and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento. The magazine has spawned a successful book series, a book on New Contemporary Fashion, and has over 2 million followers on social media.
Daniel “Attaboy” Seifert began his career as a toy designer at Milton Bradley and has a degree in toy design from the Fashion Institute of Technology and he has his name on a bunch of patents and such. His work has been exhibited at The San Jose Institute of Contemporary Art, The LA Art Show, Corey Helford Gallery, The MOAH Museum, The Compound Gallery and many more.

I don't know about y'all, but with Spring just around the corner I'm ready for something that rocks. Like, rock n' roll, let's get down and have some fun in the sun! March's exhibit is the perfect accompaniment for that attitude...blending pop culture, monsters, heavy metal, and PLENTY of flames, our March artist David K Rose nails a rock n' roll attitude but maintains a sense of humor. Perfect.
Join us beginning Saturday, March 19 at 10am for in-person viewing of the 25 plus new watercolor paintings that David created for this exhibit. About the Artist
David K Rose is a visual artist known for his illustration work, and game production. His work has been featured in shows around the world, in the pages of numerous publications, AAA video games and multiple projects with bands. Dave currently resides in Dallas, TX where he continues his work in the game industry. This is his second exhibit at Rotofugi after participating in 2017's "Gritpop" group exhibition.

One great thing about being a toy store and art gallery is that we end up working with some of the most amazing people. Years ago, we worked with Josh Sutton on one of our projects, Jeremy Tinder's "Tinder Toys." Fast forward a decade and we're excited to work with Josh on a new project, though this time it's his personal work.
A talented sculptor & toy designer, Josh has honed his skills for years on other's projects but has, in recent years, developed his own series of figures. Josh will be showcasing custom versions of his newest figure, Spoons!
Spoons is known throughout the universe as a fearsome warrior and magical shaman, wielding the Eye of Destiny and helping Henry & The Max keep the M.I.T.E.S. (a group of mutants determined to devour food and resources) at bay!
The Spoons Experiment, Round 1, opens Saturday, March 5 at Rotofugi, 2780 N. Lincoln Ave., Chicago and will feature 10 custom painted figures, with Round 2 to follow within the month with additional Spoons.

About the Artist
Joshua Sutton is an Ohio-based toy sculptor, prototype artist and owner of ERA Sculpture LLC.
"As long as I can remember, I have enjoyed designing and building things. Anything really, fighter jets out of cardboard boxes, or model cars. It didn’t really matter as long as it was fun! This love of creating, combined with my love of toys, led me to a career in the toy industry. I am fortunate enough to have been involved in and continue today to work on some very cool projects.
"Over the years, I have learned skills and knowledge that have allowed me to design and create my own vinyl figures. Henry and The Max and Spoons are the beginning of a creative journey to build and develop a world of characters that are fun and creative.
"Ultimately, I am just trying to have fun, being me, my own way, and in my own style."
